Sunday afternoon

Soo.. This weekend I'm alone because my husband went backpacking with his guys. The weather was rather good yesterday morning, but since ca. 14 o'clock it has been only raining and raining and raining... and it's windy and just nasty.. But I should say I have nothing against such weather when I can stay home :D I love it to sit at home and look out of the window when it's raining! And I often see a blackbird male on the roof in front of our house..I actually don't know if it's the same one but I think so, because I see him there many times a day. And now he's sitting there again and it's raining, he seems really alone to me and I'd like to invite him in our flat, you know, offer him a cup of tea with oat-cookies and present him a small and cute handmade scarf :) Don't think I'm crazy! Maybe he's there only to make his thing you know :D Have you ever seen such blackbirds? They run funny :)

But I'm not just lazy sitting indoors... I spend my time in handmade (finally). Now I'm creating a couple of cute Easter greeting cards. One is for my penpal from India and the other one - I don't know yet.. But the next one I would cross-stitch will be a blackbird. I found a nice desing of a redwinged blackbird (an American one), and after the Easter cards I stitch it ;)

At the end of this post I'll show you our beautiful candle house. I love him! <3 enjoy!

For today I've planned some yoga for my back and to hoover the carpet!

Last week we bought a bird-house for our garden birds. And now it seems to work! :) Today I've caught two of visitors who were enjoying their meals in a sunny day ^_____^

Some postcrossing notes

Just bored because of the empty mail-box :(

I joined postcrossing already 8 month ago (249 days), hehe, can't believe it!
And I surely got many postcards (71 for now). But I still have no postcards e.g. from Belarus or Canada. I even have one from Norway, Brazil and Portugal (from the Azores!!)! I'm very thankful to these users!

Do you know what the name of my blog means?

"Frühlingslied" means a "Song of Spring" in German, because spring is just my favourite season! And particularly this one is my first spring in Germany with my husband together ^____^ I'm very grateful to him that I can enjoy it!

And a few words about my other hobby. After a strange period of boring, ugly or even from-my-hate-list postcards I got a bunch of really beautiful ones and I'm happy :) I was already about to stop postcrossing cause it's then a wasting of time and money for me.. So I still continue! Sorry for the photo, it's really sunny the whole day ^____^

Frühlingsgrüße vom Fensterbrett ^____^

I got two new friends this week :) they are a gorgeous Hyacint and a gang of garden mini-daffodil guys! As there was no sun, my new friends were really dull on the windowsill (photo 1 - a couple of days ago), but as the sun came (now it's so pleasantly outside... ^____^) the guys got alive and blossom (photo 2). If you have a question about the onion, yes, it dares to enjoy the sunshine as well.

I have to separate and put the flower bulbs in different pots but now they are in the basement under a heap of heavy boxes. Hope they would wait till it's weekend and my husband will get all the boxes away :)

I have just seen two sweet bunnies jumping below our window ^____^
